Psychotherapist

I am an accredited Core Process Psychotherapist with an MA in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapeutic Practice. I  work in person in the Helensburgh and Lomond areas in the West of Scotland and volunteer for a donation based agency in Glasgow. I also work online.

I work with clients with a variety of issues, ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma to bereavement and existential issues. 

 

Specialisms

I worked in the NHS for 30 years, latterly as a Consultant Paediatrician, working in general paediatrics, neonatology and with children with disability and developmental issues. I have seen the impact of serious diagnoses on the person and their family and have a wealth of knowledge about the pressures of staff working in the NHS.  

I have a particular interest in spirituality and the diverse ways it expresses itself. I have a longstanding Buddhist practice and am trained as an Ignatian Spiritual Director.
