Mind Space Therapies - Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy & Counselling
It is not uncommon that at some point in the course of our lives we encounter difficulties that to navigate alone is simply impossible. Perhaps we feel stuck in a situation and can’t see a way out, or are challenged by complex circumstances where resolution is beyond our comprehension. One of the most helpful ways I find is to take signs of discomfort and suffering as necessary cues to acknowledge something much deeper is calling for our attention.
My psychotherapy orientation is informed by Core Process Psychotherapy (CPP), a Mindfulness Based Psychotherapeutic Practice (MBPP) that blends eastern and western wisdom into a practical framework. CPP absorbs a gentle and non-invasive approach that makes it possible for you to notice much more about yourself than in ordinary consciousness. It encourages you to explore yourself with greater objectivity, curiosity and acceptance, that brings greater levels of self-compassion and reduces the grip on shame, resentment, blame and guilt. These are the hallmarks that bring us closer to understanding ourselves better that stabilises experience, creates resilience and leads to wellbeing.
I provide a safe and supportive confidential space free of judgements where you can expect to be met with dignity and respect. A space that is tranquil to enable you to relax and bring whatever material you wish to explore. Material that can be processed in an ambience of trust so that reclaiming what is important to you becomes possible.
