I have a natural curiosity about people, I am patient, and I have a deep commitment to finding a way that feels right for each human being.

I have over twenty years experience supporting and being alongside many people in a range of professional roles within the statutory and voluntary sector. I continue to be grateful for the glimpses that people allow me to have into their lives. My heart is often touched by what is shared, even in the darkest moments.

I have experience of supporting people with a range of life experiences and subsequent impact, including but not exclusively: neglect, abuse, bereavement, relationship breakdown, bullying, discrimination, exploitation, illness, self-harm (various forms), loneliness, depression, hopelessness, anxiety, stress, grief, anger and feeling out of control. In addition to working with suffering, I am also interested in working with people who would like therapy for self-development.

I practice Core Process psychotherapy which is a mindfulness- based training recognised by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). This approach brings awareness in the present moment to all of our experience (mind, body, feelings, and spirituality).

I charge £40 for an hour session, and I prefer to work in person rather than online. I practice from a central Bristol location and my slots are on a Monday afternoon / early evening. 

Please be aware that my phone and emails are checked on a Monday between 9am and 5pm and on a Friday between 9am and 11am.
