Pinar McGivern is a fully qualified and UKCP accredited mindfulness-based psychotherapist, with an MA in Core Process Psychotherapy. She has diverse experience of providing therapy in the private and voluntary sectors, including working for a NHS service and within the charity sector. She currently works with individuals in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Clapham, offering long and short-term psychotherapy in English and Turkish.

Pinar’s therapeutic approach is informed by mindfulness, aiming to bring the client to the present moment and explore how the experience of “now” may be conditioned by early experience in life. It is an embodied approach that empowers client’s own inner wisdom, enabling them to better address challenges in their lives.
