I worked for various local and national charities in the fields of mental health, substance use and homelessness from 1981 until 2010.

I became self-employed in 1999 as a freelance trainer and consultant and also as a psychotherapist working with a broad range of issues since 2003. I completed an MA in Core Process Psychotherapy in 2008 and became a registered psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy in 2009. My psychotherapy practise is based in a Georgian building in Exeter City Centre. I am available to see clients for short, medium or long term therapeutic work all day and early evenings on Wednesdays, Thursdays and daytime onFridays. My practise is a short walk from both 'Exeter Central' and 'Exeter St Davids' train stations..

I offer a free initial meeting to prospective clients in order to discuss your needs and for us both to get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you.

There is good access to parking nearby. 

Specialisms

Working with dreams, anxiety, depression, alcohol and drug use, existential and midlife issues. Clients with a diagnosis of bi-polar disorder.
