About ACPP

The Association of Core Process Psychotherapists exists to promote and support the practice of accredited Core Process Psychotherapists.

We provide a web-based forum,Core Talk, for Core Process practitioners to interact and support each-other.

We hold regular meetings, which all members can attend, subject to boundary considerations. We also organise conferences and CPD events, some of which are also open to the wider profession.

The Association, as well as maintaining ethical standards and good practice for individual members, supports members who are experiencing difficulties such as a potential complaint or an ethical dilemma.

We are committed to promoting Core Process Psychotherapy to the wider profession and the general public, and jointly with Karuna Trainings, represent Core Process practitioners at UKCP and other professional bodies.

The ACPP is also responsible for maintaining the re-registration and re-accreditation of Core Process Psychotherapists. We ensure that qualified Core Process Psychotherapists adhere to the Association's Code of Ethics and we maintain the ethical integrity of the Association itself.

As of April 2017, ACPP is an Organisational Member of the Humanistic and Integrative College of UKCP.
